What the licence covers
The licence is suitable for events without an entrance fee
The licence covers the use of background music in Gramex’s repertoire (e.g. streaming services, radio, computer, sound recordings, internet radio and TV) at the event
The licence allows you to organise one event. The right to use background music at the event is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The licence is suitable for events with up to 3,000 participants
An event refers to a single one‑off event, which may take place over several days
The licence does not apply to
Companies or event producers that organise events professionally
Events that include live music, DJ performances or karaoke
Events subject to an entrance fee
In the above cases, you must obtain a licence from Teosto.

To play background music at an event, an additional licence covering the rights of music authors and publishers is required. This licence can be obtained from Teosto’s licensing service.
